Affidavits of Candidacy for the March Township Election are available from Dec 31 to Jan 14. To be elected are a Supervisor for a three-year term and Treasurer for a two-year term (link/info).
Rescheduled meetings due to holidays - the December PC meeting will be held December 18, 2024, the January 2025 Supervisors meeting will be January 8, 2025, and the December 2025 PC meeting will be December 17, 2025. All are at 7 PM (link/info).
Snow Issues - Residents are reminded that it is illegal to put snow stakes or other posts in the Township road right-of-way. This is necessary because the wing of the plow needs to push snow back from the road. The property owner is liable for any damage to plow equipment. The Township is not liable for damage to any stakes or posts placed in the road right-of-way. Residents are also reminded that it is illegal to push or blow snow on the road.

Residential trash & recycling services in the Township are available through Waste Management (WM) or West Central Sanitation.
Radon Tests - are available free from Stearns County (link).

Residents are reminded that: (a) mailboxes and supports must meet standards (link); (b) anyone who collects roadside trash is responsible for its disposal; and (c) pusihing or blowing snow or grass clippings onto a Township road is illegal.
